About Me

Hi, I’m Naomi — a broadcast journalist who’s passionate about turning complex issues into compelling, human stories. Whether I’m reporting on culture, health, rural life or policy decisions, I care about journalism that informs, connects, and cuts through the noise.

Before journalism, I taught maths — a role that sharpened my ability to explain tricky ideas clearly, creatively, and with impact. Now, I bring that same clarity to live reporting, documentary storytelling, and digital-first content.

I’m currently completing an MA in Broadcast Journalism at City, University of London. Along the way, I’ve reported live from protests, produced social content for TikTok and Instagram, presented a U.S. Election Special, and led a newsroom as TV Editor. I’ve been published in The London Minute and recently trekked to Everest Base Camp, where I filmed footage for a documentary on waste and microplastics in the Himalayas — part of my final MA project.

Outside the newsroom, I love being outdoors — whether it’s a long run, a good hike, or heading back to help out on the farm where I grew up in mid Wales. I also enjoy singing, cooking, and I’m currently writing and illustrating a children’s book.
